When the soul has died but the heart still beats is a person still alive?

Does the absence of a soul make you turn bad?

When the soul dies it does not mean there is no love there,

Human Quest

In our quest for human perfection we find only fault. In our dreams we find the perfection we search for but for the most part that is an illusion, as a dream is only what we wish it could be. Our dreams are good because they make us strive for the better life but we have to remember that the perfection is in the striving not the end result. We can’t control the society of the environment around us, there has to be room for error because we are after all only human.

We also strive for the greater love, but as with everything else we can’t set our goals to high because no such animal exists outside of the dream of the perfect mate. We also don’t want to set our goals to low because we will feel so far from the dream that we will feel let down by the card we feel we have been dealt. This deck of cards is like a magic trick we aren’t dealt these cards so much as we pick them. When we get a bad card that we feel we have been dealt it is just that we have picked a card out of the deck of life with the deck face down. What we have to do is turn the deck face up, see what our options are and pick our cards knowing that yes this is the right card.

Life as far as we know it is a mystery, as are the reasons we laugh at jokes no one else finds funny or love someone that makes other wonder why, but that is what is unknown. We have to realize what we do know. That is our likes and dislikes. What we are capable of and what we are not. This is only a guide line to go by because we have the dreams and we have that quest for perfection so knowing what we can’t do but trying to do it any what is a good lesson as we can find out that even though we can’t do something, we tried, and maybe next time we try we can do better. That should be our quest not for perfection but to do better then we did the last time we tried. To find what is better for us. To make our lives better will help make the lives around us better. To see us strive for what we want will show others that we can get somewhere in life. No where in life though will everyone see what you are doing as the right was but that is just one of the hurdles that we have to jump. Everyone is different with different goals and different ideals of beauty, dreams, or of what they believe is right. We have to follow our own heart and not that of others. We also have to be sure to use our head as well or that deck of life cards will be face down. The heart can not make a decision that is not solely of a pleasing nature just as the head can not make a decision that is not completely of an intellectual nature. While one is fun and pleasurable it may not always be good for you. Where the other may be a good choice but is devoid of any feeling so we can’t enjoy the choice made. If we use heart and head to make our choices then we find we have fun and enjoy the choices we make and that they are good and wise choices that improve and enhance our lives this is the deck of life cards face up.

Even with these revelations of life I am still bound to make more mistakes then I care to admit and it doesn’t always seem easy to turn that deck of cards face up but I am learning. Nobody said this quest for a better life was going to be easy, and damned sure it never will be but like it is said anything that’s good is worth fighting for, and as it is I am going to fight tooth and nail to make things better for me because anything less would be to sink into the mire of mediocrity or self doubt and we are all better then that we just have to realize that we are the masters of our own lives because we are the only ones who truly know our own goals and dreams. No one else can say what you have a dream of is right or wrong because it may not work for them but it may be perfect for you. Never try to live up to the dreams or expectations of others because it is way to hard to measure up. It is also way to hard on yourself to do that. Live you life , love yourself and always follow your heart but lead with your head.
